Does anyone else have this problem. Anytime I work on a desktop scene I get the red message saying saving is disabled for safety reasons. So no matter what I can't sync a scene. Everything has to done on Mobile or iPad. Any one know if there is a fix?

Reinstalling the app will have zero effect on this. It happens because the app is unable to access the sync database, which is in these folders.
Also, reinstalling the app has no effect on your Documents folder, so if the Shot Designer Scenes folder is suddenly missing, it's possible there's some confusion about which folder you're looking in.
We can do a shared desktop session to resolve it. Contact support@hollywoodcamerawork.com to schedule.
Then please do both steps again. I promise this is the cause.
Hi,
Do part two with clearing the preferences.
This is a known and specific issue where we lose write permission to our own folders for as of yet unknown reasons. I'll post the solutions here, because it comes up from time to time.
This is for the 1.62 version of Shot Designer 2D.
MAC SOLUTION:
Please do the following steps slowly and carefully.
Solution 1 of 2:
1.) Quit Shot Designer.
2.) Move Documents->Shot Designer Scenes to the desktop.
3.) Start Shot Designer. Quit it again.
4.) Copy the *contents* of the folder you copied to the desktop into the newly recreated Documents->Shot Designer Scenes folder.
5.) Start Shot Designer again.
Solution 2 of 2:
Then please sign out of the app and do the following:
Go to Finder -> Go menu -> Go To Folder -> ~/Library/Application Support/
Delete us.hollywoodcamerawork.shotdesigner, and restart the app.
WINDOWS SOLUTION:
