I'm using two windows devices. It didn't happen after a specific even. They were created back in May. They were there and I'm accessing them on two different devices. It's good to know they are not gone, just lost. I did not remove them on either device. It didn't ask for access. They are just gone on both devices. I struggled with our last project. Where it seemed to glitch and would only show some of the scenes we did, so we would immediately screenshot or export for rear of loosing work back in May.
Now it is only showing a few of the scenes. When I go to open scene and go through the folder structure (20LM/in progress) I only have scenes 2-19 of over 100 scenes.
What platform? Did it happen after any specific event? When did you last use the app? Where the scenes there before, or are you just on a new device?
FYI, we don't delete scenes at all. The only delete command that's physically present in the code base is Empty Trash, so files have to both have been moved to the Trash and then Empty Trash physically executed. This is by design so that not even a bug could ever delete files.
So the question is more what your circumstance is. Did you remove the files on another device and now this removal is being synced? Even then, the files aren't deleted, just move to Trash. Or are you on a Mac, and the app asked for permissions to access the Documents folder, which was denied and now it looks like the files are missing? Or do you have an anti virus blocking the app's access to the Documents folder?
