We only sync through our own sync server. You simply sign in to your account and enable sync in the Share/Sync menu, and your files start moving.
We once had Dropbox integration, but these types of file services like Dropbox or iCloud are terrible for Shot Designer. They're great for manual sharing of a single file like dropping a PDF into Dropbox, and we support that.
But for syncing, i.e. using Dropbox as simply a storage back-end, turned out to be a can or worms. Dropbox really doesn't want to be a storage back-end, so signing in is difficult, with round-trips to a browser to authenticate. We needed to get way too many permissions for comfort in order to do sync. And sharing was truly convoluted, again because there wasn't really an API so we could make it seamless. We always had to play by Dropbox's rules, but they're built for something else.
The worst thing was that since it was so convoluted to get connected and syncing with Dropbox, many people didn't do it. When their iPads then exploded, they'd have no copies of their files.
Our sync service is one click. Then your files are synced, you have a cloud backup, and sharing is a couple of extra clicks. It's better for this kind of application.
