You have to roll with the size of the characters and cameras and scale everything around it. The thing is that they auto-size depending on your zoom level, so character size is an ill-defined concept. It's because of this automatic sizing that you can zoom way out and still be able to manipulate the drawing. Otherwise they would just be dots when you zoom out. So characters and cameras don't truly have a size at all, they have whatever size makes them work on screen.
You can add control points to any walk or track to make it into a curve. Tap anywhere on an already selected path and add a control point from the menu, or long-press where you want the control point.
Organize Scenes -> Save As...
