Was wondering how people were creating locations within Causality. Ideally (at least with my current understanding) it would be best to have locations be similar to characters. In other words, listing them, taking notes on them, seeing where they are in stories as we do with characters.
Is there a way to do this or am I not thinking of these correctly?
There isn't a way at present, but it's on the drawing board, because you're correct that locations go through the same creative process as anything other "object" in a story.
Also, once you start to add film production, or integration with Shot Designer, locations are real things that you link real things to.
So locations should indeed become a real thing in Causality. It isn't at present, and our plate is so full it's probably not right around the corner either. But I agree with it.
For now, I'd make a Research folder called Locations, and under that, folders for your main locations. It's not linked to anything, but at least it allows you to work.
