Hi. I can't select several beats with "lasso" anymore. Version 3.1.8

Yes, I've noticed that too, and there's a ticket for it. You can still select from outside of a block, and the lasso still starts.

Appreciate the comment. Again to be clear, this is a bug that should be fixed as soon as possible. We're only coming up with workarounds.
